NSW Mining Health, Safety, Environment and Community Conference in 2018
The NSW Mining Health, Safety, Environment and Community (HSEC) Conference is an annual conference that brings together key policy experts and leading decision makers in one room to address issues and topics in the areas of health, safety, environment and community.
This event was attended by over 600 delegates in 2018, including industry leaders, senior government representatives and HSEC professionals.

People living with haemochromatosis, their families, researchers and health professionals gathered together to talk about the past, present and future of haemochromatosis at the 3rd Biennial Australasian Haemochromatosis Conference in Newcastle, NSW.
The program offered a varied mix of presentations, discussion and question and answer sessions and some specialised sessions for health professionals and researchers. Tarnya Davis was invited to speak at the conference about chronic illness and well-being.
