Rebecca Sibthorpe

Bec is a warm and approachable psychologist with a passion for holistically supporting people to overcome barriers and live rich, full, and meaningful lives. Bec has worked with individuals across the lifespan in government, community, and private settings. While she enjoys working with people from all walks of life, she has special interest in working with adolescents and young adults. Bec uses a range of interventions to tailor her sessions and meet the unique needs of her clients including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Schema Therapy. Bec values the opportunity to improve the lives of people with mood disturbance, anxiety disorders, stress, trauma, self-esteem, and neurodevelopmental disorders.

 

Outside of work Bec can be found avoiding her housework and home renovations by swimming, fishing, and discovering new foodie hotspots.
