Madeline Guinane

Madeline is a registered psychologist who works with individuals across the lifespan. She takes a collaborative, flexible, and affirming approach to therapy, creating a safe environment where clients feel heard, supported, and able to work towards meaningful change. 

 

Madeline is experienced in supporting individuals with a range of difficulties including anxiety, obsessive compulsive Disorder (OCD), mood difficulties, stress, adjustment challenges, and trauma related difficulties. 

 

Madeline draws on a range of evidence-based interventions including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR). She is deeply interested in the use mindfulness based approaches across her practice. 

 

Madeline seeks to help clients develop skills to respond differently to difficult thoughts and emotions so they can live more fulfilling, values driven lives.

 

In her free time, Madeline enjoys cooking, reading, and spending time with her friends, family, and dog, Rhubarb.
