Kate is a registered psychologist with two decades of experience working in mental health in a variety of fields. Her experience extends through organisational psychology frameworks, conflict resolution and critical incident supports along with person-centred clinical intervention.
Kate specialises in anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, anger, addiction and interpersonal issues as well as concerns with adjustment and trauma. Kate also has extensive experience in workplace health, along with experience in navigating Commonwealth and State based disability, compensation and insurance schemes. Kate applies a client centred approach to her care, understanding your story and adapting her knowledge and experience to support you. Kate is committed to helping her clients to live in a meaningful and contented way, whatever that may look like.
Kate’s preferred treatment modalities include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Schema Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) and utilising the Trauma Informed Care Modal.
