Kasmira (Kas) is a provisional psychologist passionate about supporting people to connect with their values and redefine their own narrative. She uses a person-centred, non-judgemental and collaborative approach to therapy. Kas draws on a range of evidence-based modalities to meet the individual needs of her clients including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Psychodynamic techniques. Kas welcomes clients of all ages and backgrounds. Clinical areas of focus include trauma, domestic and family violence, depression, anxiety, major life transitions, interpersonal issues, grief and loss, and sexuality. Kas acknowledges the impact of social context and power structures on individual mental health and incorporates the Power Threat Meaning Framework lens within her therapeutic style. Kas holds a Master of Professional Psychology, a Bachelor (Honours) of Psychological Science and a Bachelor of International Studies.
