Kas Chudleigh
Provisional Psychologist

Kas is a provisional psychologist dedicated to supporting people to connect with their values and redefine their own narrative. She uses a person-centred, strength-based, non-judgemental and collaborative approach to therapy. She welcomes clients of all ages and backgrounds. 
 

Kas draws on a range of evidence-based modalities to meet the individual needs of her clients including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and psychodynamic techniques. 

Clinical areas of interest include depression, anxiety, trauma, domestic and family violence, major life transitions, interpersonal issues, grief and loss, and sexuality. 

Kas also acknowledges the impact of social context and power structures on individual mental health and incorporates the Power Threat Meaning Framework within her approach. She holds a Master of Professional Psychology and is currently completing a Master of Clinical Psychology at the University of Newcastle.

When she has the time, Kas enjoys live music, reading and spending time with friends.
