Emily Hayes
Psychologist
| CHILDREN | ADOLESCENTS | ADULTS
Emily is a registered psychologist who is experienced working with children, adolescents, and adults. Emily has a warm, down-to-earth approach which puts her clients at ease and makes a safe space for them to explore any issues, emotions or concerns that they bring.
Emily has particular experience in addressing depression, anxiety, confidence and self-esteem issues, relationship issues and domestic abuse, and in supporting the development of skills in parenting, communication, and in responding to general life stressors. Emily utilises a client-centred approach, using evidence-based interventions such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and mindfulness based therapies in order to provide treatment that is based on the client's individual goals.
In between working and raising three girls (two little and one grown-up), Emily enjoys bushwalking, drawing, watching comedies, and going to the beach, as well as having a good meal with friends.
