Vince Champion




A registered psychologist since 1999, Vince has 20 years experience in community mental health in the Northern Territory, working with urban and remote Indigenous people and also supporting people with mental health issues, workplace stresses, and those experiencing the effects of past trauma.

Working primarily with adults and adolescents, Vince helps people overcoming a range of challenges such as depression, anxiety, recent or past trauma (including childhood trauma), anger, addiction, or any other of the stresses life can throw up.  Vince also has extensive experience working with severe mental illness such as schizophrenia, BPAD, and issues around emotional instability. 


Vince works from very much a client-centred approach journeying with the client to achieve their goals.  Vince utilises appropriate evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, aspects of Dialectic Behaviour and Schema Therapies, mindfulness, as well as relaxation training and stress management.
