Kim Shortridge



Kim is a warm and engaging Psychologist, who applies a client-centred, strength-based approach. She uses age-appropriate evidence-based methods such as Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, and Play Therapy to assist children and families with a range of issues.


Kim's knowledge of attachment, emotional literacy, sensory processing, and early intervention, amongst other theories, informs her work.  She applies a collaborative approach with family, daycare, school, and other treatment professionals.

Kim is a certified facilitator in a number of parenting programs.  She is also a skilled assessor of learning and developmental strengths and challenges, assisting children and their parents with helpful recommendations (e.g., for Dyslexia, giftedness, and ADHD, etc.).

Kim is a Mum to a spritely, busy little boy, and loves getting out in the sunshine with her family.
