Bridget has a doctorate in clinical psychology, is a fellow of the APS College of Clinical Psychologists, and has over 22 years’ experience providing therapy in outpatient public mental health in addition to working in private practice. She focuses on helping adults (18 years+) achieve greater wellbeing and mental health. This includes helping people with personal development, life issues and changes, workplace issues, self-esteem and interpersonal/relationships as well as with stress, sleep, anger, grief/loss, depression, anxiety and anxiety disorders (generalised, social, panic, agoraphobia).
Bridget uses a wholistic framework tailored to each individual’s personality, strengths, values and goals, offering this within a supportive, open and non-judgemental relationship. She draws upon her many years’ experience and training with a broad range of evidence-based approaches and therapies. These include Client-Centred, Positive Psychology, Mindfulness, Cognitive-Behavioural, Emotion-Focused, Solution-Focused, Schema, and Interpersonal therapies.
She enjoys family and friends, good movies, documentaries, and being in Nature.
