Amanda has a Bachelor of Psychology and is currently studying a Graduate Certificate in Health Science. She has two years of post registration experience, with 4 years experience in injury management and critical incident stress debriefing.
Amanda enjoys working with adults, adolescents and children with a range of issues, including return to work, vocational counselling, depression, anxiety, adjustment and pain management. Amanda is particularly interested in working with children and young people and those who experience substance misuse.
Amanda's preferred treatment approaches include, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Solution Focused Therapy.
Amanda is a Newcastle local and enjoys all the fine things Newcastle has to offer, local markets, cafe's, beaches and bush walking/cycle tracks. She spends her time with family and friends and likes to cook.
