Preliability Assessments/Personal Injury/ Workers Compensation/Case Reviews |
Insurance companies and solicitors can request an assessment and report for a client’s injury claim. |

Cognitive Assessments/Personality assessments/Psycho-legal Assessments |
The provision of comprehensive psychological testing and clinical interviews followed by medical/psycho-legal reports detailing the findings and recommendations. |

Children’s Reports |
Reports include school readiness and various assessments for children such as children presenting with developmental delay, difficulties learning at school, autism spectrum disorders and ADHD; intervention strategies for families, and reports as ordered by the Children’s Court Clinic |

Authorised Report Writer (ARW) for Victims of Crime |
The Victims Compensation Tribunal (VCT) has nominated a number of clinical psychologists as having particular expertise and experience in assessing and report writing for claims for victim’s compensation. |

Victim Impact Statement |
A Victim Impact Statement (VIS) is a written statement by a primary or family victim of crime. |
|
Pre-Sentencing Report |
Solicitors can request a report for their clients to be considered by Courts prior to sentencing. |

Counselling |
|

Medicare |
With a referral from a GP, psychiatrist or paediatrician, clients are eligible for up to 12 individual consultations each year, plus 12 group sessions |

Insurance |
People involved in workplace injuries or motor vehicle accidents where there is a psychological component, are eligible for an assessment with a view to psychological treatment funded by the insurance company. NewPsych can help arrange treatment approval |

Victim of Crime |
Anyone who has been a victim of crime such as physical assault, sexual assault, domestic violence, or is the family member of a homicide victim, is entitled to make application to Victims Services for free counselling |
|
Self funded |
No referral is necessary for self-funded counselling. Rebates are available through various health funds, dependent upon your level of cover |

Groups |
Groups for children, parents and issues including depression, anxiety etc. See our noticeboard for information on our current groups |
|
Supervision |
|
NewPsych Psychologists has a large team of experienced psychologists who are able to offer supervision for professional development as well as supervision for registration. Some of our areas of expertise include substance abuse, PTSD and trauma including domestic violence and sexual assault, anxiety and depression. |
